To either wake up in a giant hotel bed or within the confinements of my bunk, I look forward to seeing their faces every morning (or afternoon).”
Robin Laananen is a photographer based in Los Angeles who has shot for publications like MOJO, Rolling Stone, Rock Sound, for labels like Universal, Rough Trade, Epitaph, and Sub Pop. She had her first book of photography published in July 2017, titled “US/THEN”, documenting her time on the road with Los Angeles based band, Warpaint. The book received international press and was on display with enlarged prints available at the Somerset House in London. She can often be found touring around the world with bands as the opportunity to see and document the genuine, candid moments off-stage and the undeniably captivating action of the live shows is what has continued to lure her on the road.
